INSURANCE
At this time, CommuniKATE, PLLC is private-pay only and does not accept or work with any insurance plans. A Superbill (statement of services) is available upon request, which you can submit on your own behalf to your insurance company. This may help you secure reimbursement from your insurance provider for out-of-network costs (depending on your plan). Provision of a Superbill unfortunately does not guarantee reimbursement from your insurance provider. We can provide you with a “cheat sheet” to help navigate your conversation with your insurance company.
Please call your insurance company before scheduling an appointment to determine the benefits outlined in your plan.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Every session is a critical step towards building the confidence of the person I'm working with. So it's incredibly important that the process is given the dedicated time required to get the most effective results. That being said, as a parent of two busy kids, I realize that life can be unpredictable at times, so here's how we handle cancellations or re-scheduling:

ALL SESSIONS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE ONCE THEY HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED
Our goal is to provide an important service to you or your child and we intend to honor that. If you cannot make an appointed time, I will work with you to re-schedule that session and find a more convenient time for everyone involved.

IN THE EVENT THAT YOU NEED TO RE-SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT, PLEASE PROVIDE A 24-HOUR NOTICE
This serves as a way to make sure we can re-schedule your session while ensuring that my other clients still get the attention they rightfully deserve.

RE-SCHEDULING A SESSION WITHOUT 24-HOUR NOTICE WILL RESULT IN A 25% SURCHARGE THAT WILL BE ADDED TO THE NEXT SESSION FEE
Being able to manage my schedule effectively allows me to have more flexibility when making new appointments or re-scheduling old ones for clients.

FAILURE TO SHOW FOR A SESSION WILL RESULT IN A 100% SESSION FEE CHARGE
I will always extend the courtesy of waiting a minimum of fifteen minutes before declaring a session as a no-show. If a client shows up within that fifteen minute window, we will finish the remaining time for the scheduled session.
